Help support
WA families in need this Christmas

What is Giving Box?

The Hawaiian Giving Box teams with charities, Foodbank WA and children’s charity Variety WA to collect donations of non-perishable food, children’s gifts and monetary donations which directly help local West Australians in need.

Now in its eighth year, the Hawaiian Giving Box has raised more than 30,000kg of food, 39,000 gifts and $48,000 in cash donations for West Australians in need.

Christmas can be a difficult time for many WA families; but the year of 2020 has been particularly challenging, throwing hardship at more people than ever. Many WA families and children are facing a bleak Christmas.

Hawaiian wants to change that.

We are asking people to give whatever they can to help support Western Australian families this Christmas. Items of canned or long-life food are perfect, as are gifts (second-hand goods cannot be accepted) of art and craft supplies, toys, and gift cards. Alternatively a cash gift of just $5 can go a long way. It will provide 10 meals to people that otherwise might go without, or contribute to toys for local children in need.

Visit one of our Hawaiian shopping centres to donate food, gifts or cash. Alternatively you can click through to Foodbank and Variety below, and donate directly.

Let’s ensure no West Australian family goes without this Christmas.
